Brian Justin Crum blowing the roof off the Charleston at our benefit concert for Tara’s Chance and their life changing work! It has been 10 years since he sang this song on Americas Got Talent. Watching it go viral with over 10 million views (on various posters videos, one with 9, another with 4mil etc) across cyberspace was so gratifying knowing what an awesome talent and more important, an awesome human Brian is. Love this song l, love this singer. I feel I can caption every video the same. These amazing performers, friends (I’m relishing in their friendship til they move on to cooler friends), made an impossible night for me an incredibly special (but still hard) night. Melinda Porto, thank you for years of friendship and for rocking the stage (and video screen) for BK so many times. I can’t wait to hear you sing another one of my favorite songs!! :-). The opening party continued with this classic at Broadway Knights’ “A Night at the Charleston”

As we relaunch Broadway Knights, we’ve decided to post clips from some of our past benefit concerts. We intend to post one or two past clips a week in addition to more recent clips. Hope you enjoy and will follow us here and on Insta and FB! Thanks to those of you who have supported us all these years as well as you who are just discovering us. BK would have never started up without Sut’s friendship and support so this is a very special video to me as she sings a song that reminds me of when we first met!! BK would also not exist without all of the amazing performers who have joined us over the years from 2009 all the way up to now. You are why BK exists and what makes it feel like a family. How incredibly lucky am I to have been surrounded by such amazingly talented performers snd,more importantly, people. Again thank you to everyone who watches and supports us as well try to move forward entertaining you and giving up and coming performers a safe space to let their talent shine and grow working with industry professionals!!

AUDITION NOTICE: Broadway Knights is looking for high energy singers to form a powerhouse ensemble singing with some incredibly talented BK alumni from Broadway and National Tours. (Cast announcement May 25…same day as first rehearsal). This concert will benefit Tara's Chance and all monies raised will go directly to getting a well deserving disabled or at risk child onto the back of a horse for this life altering therapy. Please visit their page for more info, it is truly inspiring. This concert will feature some of the best known and loved pop, Motown and classic rock songs from the 50’s through the 90’s and of course, some numbers from some musicals just might show up. Again, besides your incredible vocal talent, energy, energy, energy will be crucial to make this concert soar as I know it will!! 🙂

Looking for powerhouse voices to perform big chorus numbers. Many featured parts in songs and medleys will be available. We are specifically looking for performers who can sing roles similar to 😉 Danny and Sandy (Grease), Riff Raff, Magenta and Columbia (RHPS) and Kira snd Sonny (Xanadu). Also many duets and parts in medleys will be available but no full solo songs. We will also have some choreographed numbers so dancers are needed as well. With the exception of basic “concert choreography”, the actual choreographed numbers are optional.
All auditions will be video auditions. Please fill out the audition forms and send one or two sixteen bar cuts of you singing a pop/rick song that really shows off your voice and energy along with a headshot and resume to [email protected] no later than May 18. Please direct any questions to that same email. If one of the videos you send is a video you already have recorded singing a pop/rick song, that’s is perfectly acceptable.
This is a benefit concert so unfortunately there is no pay.
