Take me to the ocean

Endings are hard, but new beginnings are better. Here is my first attempt at a new creative personal project I’m working on. I realized I needed an outlet to focus my overthinking mind on so I will be focusing on my purpose and how I can express that. Your destiny has already been decided, you just have to read the signs - Fools Rush In

I relocated to SoCal from Austin, TX in April of 2019. But to be honest, I have always dreamed of living in California:) A year later, there was an unprecedented global pandemic. Remember that? 😆

Now that things are finally getting back to ‘normal’ 2022 has become my year of getting out of my comfort zone… and my apartment. I’ve been meeting some great people and I’m looking forward to the future!

Here are some updated headshots of ME that I had the pleasure of having captured by some very talented photographers at one of the networking group events this summer. Thank you all so much for these!

June 2021 - Remember that time we went to the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks? It was such a great trip to share with family after being isolated for a whole year basically.

Weddings were insanely busy last fall as everyone was finally able to celebrate with their loved ones. So I just realized I never got a chance to share these from the trip! Next year Utah!

Final shots from a great show last weekend! Thanks to all the amazing artists for sharing their talents with us! Can’t wait for the next show!

I’ve been primarily photographing weddings professionally for the past 15 years, so it’s been hard for me to balance bringing my camera with to everyday life and experiences without it feeling like a job. So this is something I am working on more this year. I love art, photography and being creative and I want to continue to share that with my friends and family. I’ve learned a lot about myself during this pandemic, but also just how important family and friends are to me and sharing as many experiences as possible with them. Now I just want to ensure I am also documenting these moments too:)
