Having fun painting this mug and a little clip from my garden 🌾
This is one of my most prized mugs from Taiwan. When we were living there, our new friends took us out to the countryside and we stumbled upon an artist’s studio. That’s where we found this mug.
It holds more than just a memory of that trip. It carries the quiet beginning of friendship in a foreign land—when language was limited and I was homesick.
Some objects just hold the heart of a season.
