Meet Tara, the amazingly talented silversmith and owner of Blue Girl Beading Co. and Bon Secour Candle Company. She stays grinding the hammer in her studio all day everyday to produce these handmade unique jewels, made with a variety of beautiful and rare stones.

📣📣📣Art on Point: Featured Artist!📣📣📣

Most of you locals know this lovely ceramicist as the Resident Artist at the Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach, but Maya Blume Cantrell has been native to our area her whole life. Since childhood, she has always been inspired by the gulf and bay waters, and all surrounding plant life forms. These elements are apparent in her functional ceramic ware and sculptural vessels.

Come see Maya along with many other fine artists and specialty vendors at Bear Point's 3rd annual art market, Art on Point, this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 - 4:00.

Nick Cantrell is a local of Orange beach, but is known all over the Southeast for his vibrant batik watercolor paintings. Nick uses unique Japanese fiber papers as the foundation for his land and seascape compositions. His drawings are extremely detailed, setting the stage for the contrasting, bold washes of color these expressive paintings bring to life.

We are excited to have Nick back this year for Bear Point's 3rd annual Art on Point! Come see us and support local artists this Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 - 4:00. Looking forward to seeing you there!!

Melanie, Mel to most, is an amazing driftwood artist. Fun fact that she is also the charter Capitan for Back Bay Sailing Adventures in Bear Point. This sweet friend creates intricate driftwood sculptures, and also beautiful wedding arbors out of driftwood and I'm so fortunate to work with her!
