Opp Fest Opp Fest is held each year on the last Saturday in October in Downtown Opp, Alabama.

There are many arts and craft booths, food vendors, musical entertainment, car show, and much more.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are tossing around a brand new summer event idea and want to see if it is something our community would be excited about 👀👇

☀️ Sounds of Summer (August-ish)
🎤 A Battle of the Bands
🎶 Unsigned bands or solo artists compete for the top spot
🏆 The winner earns a chance to perform at Opp Fest and the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo
🎉 The night would wrap up with a live concert featuring a headlining artist
🍔🌮 Food trucks on site all day

Before we start making plans, we want your input because new events should start with community interest.

🎉 Thank You for Making Opp Fest a Huge Success! 🎉

We want to thank everyone who came out to support Opp Fest this past Saturday!

💛 Your smiles, laughter, and community spirit made it an unforgettable day. We truly appreciate everyone who came to shop with our vendors, enjoy the festivities, and celebrate all things Opp!

A special thank you to all of our amazing vendors who set up and spent the day with us, we couldn’t do it without you!

🎡 Opp Fest Announcement 🎡

We hate to announce that the Ferris Wheel is not at Opp Fest this year due to circumstances beyond our control. It is under maintenance and was not available for this weekend’s event.

While we’re disappointed, safety always comes first, and we hope to have the Ferris Wheel back and better than ever next year!

Come join us in Downtown Opp for a full day of fun, arts & crafts, food trucks, live music, car show, tractor parade, quilt show, and so much more!

Festivities run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Trick-or-Treat on Main starting at 3:00 PM! 🍬

Grab your family and friends and spend the day with us, you don’t want to miss it! 💛

🍬 The fun begins at 3:00 PM, right after Opp Fest, and lasts until 4:00 PM, or until the candy runs out! 🍭

Join us Saturday, October 25th in downtown Opp for a sweet afternoon of fun.

Don’t want to trick-or-treat? No problem! 🎃
