🔥 More than 300,000 acres burned in western Oklahoma — and for ranchers, the recovery is just beginning.

Pastures were destroyed, miles of fencing were lost, and ranchers say it could take 1½ to 2 years before the grass recovers enough to feed cattle again.

Now, volunteers from across the state are stepping up. People from eastern Oklahoma are hauling hay, feed and fencing supplies to the Panhandle — often paying their own way to help.

Ranchers say the support has meant everything during a difficult time.
