August 28, 2021 we had the first Oklahoma Youth WRCA Ranch Rodeo in Oologah, OK. We had 31 members, making up 9 teams who competed for a chance to participate in the first-ever Youth WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo, TX.

We would like to thank the WRCA for sanctioning our rodeo. Thank you to Leman Wall for representing the WRCA and coming to lend support where needed.

Thank you to the Oologah Round-Up Club for use of your arena and to the Eaton family for running the concession stand and making sure everything was perfect.

Thank you to Mercy Regional of Oklahoma EMS and Dr. Frazee DVM for being on site and keeping us all safe.

Last, but not least, this rodeo would not have happened without our wonderful parent volunteers who stepped up, gave their time, and filled in where needed. Thank you for helping us put on a successful rodeo! We couldn’t do it without you!

We are excited to announce our newest WRCA Youth World Championship Ranch Rodeo qualifier will be held at the Oologah Round-Up Club Arena in Oolagah, OK on August 28th at 7p.m.

“The Working Ranch Cowboys Association and the Junior Ranch Rodeo Association are both great organizations and important to our family. We are excited that the WRCA is starting a Youth Championship this year. By hosting a rodeo, we hope to give many of our JRRA members the chance to showcase their talents and compete for a chance to go to Amarillo.” – Kole Begley
