Ontario Liberty Fest

The official page for the Ontario Liberty Fest, formerly the Ontario 4th of July Festival in Marshall Park, Ontario Ohio.

Since its beginning in 1969, the Ontario 4th of July festival has aimed to represent "Fun for All Ages." After some period of time, the festival stopped due to the absence of funding and insurance. In 2002, a small, non-profit committee of volunteers saw the need for the re-birth of our yearly, community event. This new festival committee breathed new life into the Ontario Fourth of July Festival

in 2003. The Ontario Fourth of July Festival features live entertainment with a wide variety of activities for the entire family, ending the evening with a spectacular fireworks display. As the festival continues to grow, in 2022 the entire festival is moving to Marshall Park in Ontario. In 2022 the festival will have many of the same events, new events, more food vendors, concerts and bigger fireworks!

Thank you for helping us raise Old Glory high above Marshall Park for this year’s Ontario Liberty Fest and America’s 250th Celebration.

Seeing our nation’s flag flying proudly over the festival grounds is already an incredible sight but just wait until you see it illuminated with Mix 106.1’s special lighting after dark. It’s going to be an unforgettable centerpiece of this year’s celebration.

Brand new kids area this year! Sluss Realty Kids Festival is completely free of charge thanks to our amazing sponsor, Sluss Realty.

We are gonna have a Spectacular Fireworks thanks to the Niss Family. Get ready to look up! New this year we will be bringing a super fun, high-energy laser show to the festival; as well as a special kite flying company with some of the biggest coolest kites on the planet.

Your favorite local eats are back, alongside a fantastic lineup of brand-new food trucks to try!

Our Biggest Raffle YET: We are giving away an unprecedented $20,000 in prizes—and yes, someone is driving home in a Mercedes-Benz! A massive shoutout to New Haven Auto for hitting a total home run with this year's grand prize. The Raffle has over 100 prizes all worth $50 - $1,000 and we will be drawing at least one winner every half hour during the whole event.

The OhioHealth Parade: The parade is officially taking shape and promises to be absolutely spectacular as we come together to celebrate America 250!

Mix 106.1 and WMFD TV have created one amazing video and soundtrack that is a journey from 1776 to today! You don’t want to miss this! Be sure to bring your radio and tune to Mix 106.1FM for the soundtrack. Also new this year is laser show in Marshall Park. These lasers will be just overhead and you must be in the park to see them at the Mix 106.1 Concert Stage or down in the park. They do not shoot up. 2026 Liberty Fest Fireworks will be set off in the same area as in years past near High School Soccer field. No one is permitted past red line. Parking open at schools. Field Parking will be open weather permitting in the Marshall Park field (enter off Milligan). The Laser show will be near the Mix 106.1, Avita Health System Richland Public Health Main Concert Stage. Lasers shoot overhead in the park and not up. You will need to be near Main Stage, in VIP tents or down in the park to see them. OntarioLibertyFest.com

We are just under two weeks away from the largest Ontario Liberty Fest ever!

This year’s celebration is packed with events as we celebrate America’s 250th. All event info, signups, and VIP links are available at OntarioLibertyFest.com.

Mix 106.1 has produced a very special soundtrack that will take us from the Revolution to today. You do not want to miss this!

Bring your radios and tune in before and during the fireworks and laser show for something truly special.

To see the new laser show, you MUST be inside Marshall Park near the Mix 106.1 WVNO, Avita Health System & Richland Public Health Main Stage, in the VIP tents, or east of the tents near the sand volleyball courts.

“This Is Our Story” — America 250 will air on the stages, Mix 106.1 LED screens, and live on Mix 106.1 WVNO beginning at 10:00 PM.

Don't wait until the last minute... get your raffle tickets now for the Ontario Liberty Fest "New Haven Auto" Raffle Giveaway!

This raffle is one of the best in North Central Ohio. It features a grand prize drawing of five prizes ranging from hundreds of dollars in gift cards up to the final grand prize of a vehicle from New Haven Auto in Old Ontario. Watch this page for an announcement on the details of this year's vehicle giveaway, coming soon!

But wait... there's more! Starting at 2:00 PM, we begin drawing winning ticket numbers every hour for prizes valued at $50 and up. Prizes include gift cards to your favorite local restaurants, golf course gift cards, great gifts for your pets from local pet stores, Arbor Creek gift baskets, Furniture Express gift cards, movie passes, and much more. We will have over 100 winners before we get to the grand prize drawings, and anyone who wins a prize before then will be re-entered for the grand prize drawings.

Even if you are not able to attend the festival in person, you can purchase your tickets now and simply check our website during the event—or even a day or two afterward—to see if you have won. Just scan the QR code on your ticket and check your ticket number. There is no reason not to get your tickets and give yourself a chance to win!

We’re just over one month away from the 2026 Ontario Liberty Fest, and this year is going to be bigger than ever!

Fireworks are always a favorite, but in 2026, we’re taking it to another level with a high-powered laser show before and during the fireworks, synchronized to a special America 250th Tribute on Mix 106.1 FM.

The laser show will take place inside Marshall Park, shooting across the park above the crowd for an incredible one-of-a-kind experience. To see the full effect, you’ll need to be in Marshall Park, so be sure to grab your spot in the park, at the VIP tables, or near the food truck areas.
