Untitled Video Game Project weaves interactive media and theatre to create spontaneous narratives. Audiences are given a video game controller that controls the design of the play in real time shaping the narrative, while actors journey through the treacherous, silly, and absurd world brought to life by ā€œplayersā€ in the audience.

MEET THE CREATORS

Chris-Liz is a Q***r Afro-Indigienous artist direction, sound, lighting, composition, writing, joy, programming with a focus on the interplay of technology, storytelling, and audience control. They’re a Leo, make bleeps and bloops, ignite the playful spark inside of audiences, and on occasion, instil a sense of dread into audience’s hearts where their hope should be. Kayleigh Mundy is a CODA BIPOC Stage Manager and Theatre Technician based in North York. Growing up in Toronto she has been exposed to many genres of theatre, each show she works on reflects her flexibility/adaptability to meet each shows needs.Ā 
She is a 2023 graduate of Sheridan Colleges Technical Production Program. She has had the chance to work on various types of shows both in and out of her schooling.
Since graduating she has Stage Managed An Incomplete List: Of All The Things I’m Going to Miss When The World Is No Longer (Toronto Fringe 2023), Production Assisted/Lighting Board Op. for Shakespeare In Actions otihew, she has just finished a successful run of Poem for Rabia at Tarragons Extraspace Theatre as the apprentice stage manager. As she continues to establish herself you can find her working on 3 Fingers Back (Tarragon Theatre) as the apprentice stage manager and as the Stage Manager for When You Close Your Eyes (Make Shift Company)

MEET THE PRODUCTION TEAM šŸŽ®šŸ› ļø

Alex is an emerging theatre based artist from Toronto. Her work focuses on memory, nostalgia, and perception with technology and design at the helm of creation. Alex’s interests lie in creation and curation of performance based art and interactivity. Some of her select credits include: Projections Designer 2021: Mechanisms to Hold by Cole Lewis (Tarragon Greenhouse Festival 2024), Technical Director INSERT CLOWN [HERE] (Toronto Fringe 2023), Producer and Technical Director VELVETHEAD (Pickles Theatre Co 2022), Projections Designer VELVETHEAD (Que(e)ries? Festival 2022). Alex is also a freelance technician, installing theatre, events, and exhibits all over the GTA.

Jacob Willis (he/him) is a Toronto-based actor, improviser, theatre creator, and filmmaker, originally hailing from the cold depths of Edmonton, AB. He is a recent graduate from the BFA acting program at Toronto Metropolitan University and is Co-creator and Producer for Parlous Theatre. Jacob strives to create unique and innovative theatre experiences, with much of his work often merging different performance disciplines and theatrical genres. He is interested in experimenting with alternative rehearsal processes and challenging theatre’s typical form and medium. The last thing he created was INSERT CLOWN HERE, a play he co-wrote and co- directed with collaborator Kendelle Parks and will be producing at Toronto Fringe (2023). In his limited spare time, Jacob enjoys: watching movies, playing D&D, eating bread, and petting dogs.

Kyra Tang is an exuberant Asian-Canadian multidisciplinary (character) comedian, actor, and writer, based in Toronto. Growing up in Hong Kong, Kyra focused on the artistry through community youth theatre, whilst achieving distinction levels in her Performing Arts diploma though BTEC, a qualification in vocational expertise well recognised in the United Kingdom. Her most celebrated work is her clown character, ā€˜Kyra de Magica’, a one-woman show she wrote, and produced, at the Toronto Fringe Festival 2023, less than a year since moving and reconnecting to Toronto in August 2022. Kyra is currently pursuing a Performance Acting degree at Toronto Metropolitan University, and is determined to continue to incorporate her transnational perspective into her art.

Jonnie is a trans performer, creator, and half decent baker stumbling through the
side-quests of sentience, and is so amped to be fermenting in the Greenhouse with
Pickles. Their art is all about monday melodramas, the colour and camp in our
everyday comings and goings, and the liberating communal silliness of a live
performance space. They strive to make a friend in the audience every night, and
for all their characters to wear a fun little hat. Recent funtimes include parts in
Velvethead (Pickles Theatre Co), Curses! (Big Kablammo Collective), Featherhead
(Birdbrain Theatre), and Insert Clown Here (Parlous Theatre), along with chipping

PICKLES is going to Tarragon with the Untitled VideoGame Project!! UVGP is an experiment that combines videogames, theatre and improv to create spontaneous narratives that reacts to ā€˜player’ choices(and scores).

WHAT?
