Installation of The Shell and our Pelican is complete! 🤩

09/12/2026

Dave has just completed “The Shell”, an 11 foot long bronze Horse Conch, the state shell of Florida. It was cast in 48 pieces and weighs approximately 1,600lbs. It will be installed atop an oval pedestal on the edge of the beach at the Four Seasons Naples Beach Club Resort. It’s going to look beautiful at sunset and hopefully will grace many photos of folks enjoying a wonderful visit to the beach.

Proud to share this story highlighting another Turner artist (Jack Turner) exploring their talents. Thank you to Ms. Ford and Broadwater faculty for their support of Jack.

SEWE is always a great experience and atmosphere - fun to catch up with friends and customers. Dave participated in the Speed Sculpt yesterday creating a Screech Owl🦉
It will be available for purchase if you love owls too. Sharing a few bonus pics of owls from our home neighborhood.
