THE FIREWORKS ARE STILL HAPPENING!

We are so sorry to say that the rest of our Hometown Fourth musical acts and festival have been canceled for everyone’s safety. Once the storms pass, the fireworks will go on. Here’s a message from our friends at Five Star Subaru and the City of Oneonta:

“Just a reminder to everyone attending tonight’s Hometown Fourth Celebration, the severe weather alert was issued to ensure everyone’s safety during the storm, not to announce a cancellation of the fireworks.

The fireworks display is still planned to take place tonight once the severe weather has passed and it is safe to continue. In the meantime, please follow the city’s guidance and seek shelter in a sturdy building or your vehicle if needed.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we prioritize everyone’s safety. We look forward to celebrating together once the storm moves through!”🇺🇸🎆

Today is the day!! Happy 250th Independence Day! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 Slight storm chances are not going to stop the fun. Meet us at NOON on Main Street in Oneonta for our fabulous 4th of July parade. Line-up begins at 11 a.m. on Market Street. Follow the parade into the park, where we'll have an admission-free festival all day leading up to a spectacular fireworks display sponsored by Five Star Subaru. Come one, come all!!!

We've got a few private events this week at Foothills, but what we REALLY want to share is this year's Hill City Celebrations Hometown 4th of July Festivities! Here is the full schedule of events for this Saturday at Neahwa Park!

Join us starting at NOON on Main Street for Oneonta's fabulous 4th of July parade! Follow the parade into the park for a day filled with family fun!

The festival starts at 1 p.m. in the park and will offer FREE admission all day with live music and entertainment, activities, food trucks, bounce houses, craft vendors, and fireworks for the whole family!

Five Star Subaru's spectacular fireworks show will begin just after dark. We've been told that Five Star has spared no expense for this year's fireworks and that it is going to be an extravaganza unlike anything Oneonta has ever seen!

Only5️⃣more days!! Oneonta's 4th of July festivities start at NOON on Saturday, July 4, for our jam-packed parade down Main Street! Follow the parade into Neahwa Park for all-day, free-admission fun for the whole family - with an excellent line-up of live music on the main stage, nearly a dozen food trucks, bounce houses, over 20 craft vendors, adoptable animals, face-painting, balloon animals, juggling, other children's activities, and much more! Our fabulous fireworks show, sponsored by Five Star Subaru, will kick off at sundown!

We are so excited to announce the winners of Oneonta's 2025 Festival of Lights! 🥳 The three organizations that claimed first, second, and third place received prize money generously sponsored by Cleinman Charitable Trust. Hill City Celebrations matched an equal amount of money for winners to donate to a charity of their choice!

📣Our winners:

🥇First place: Casella (who donated their $500 matched prize to the Veterans Outreach Center in Oneonta)

🥈Second place: Oneonta Veterinary Hospital (who are using their $300 matched prize to purchase needed supplies for Super Heroes Humane Society)

🥉Third place: Keller Williams (who split their $200 prize between the Otsego Resettlement Coalition and the Gilbertsville Food Pantry)

Congratulations to all of our winners! Thank you to the dozens of organizations and businesses who participated in the 2025 festival! We can't wait to see you next holiday season!
