The support I’ve received in response to my first effort of fundraising for The Church / Art House has been wonderfully uplifting and encouraging. Wanted to take some time to share a big public thank you to the organizations and people who have contributed so far.
First, I've had the awesome support of Jay Rybin from day ONE of occupying this building. Jay walked with me through the building before I purchased it and offered so many words of support and encouragement, making me feel welcomed back to Omaha and into the Vinton St. neighborhood. Every winter he services the boiler and in the summer gets the AC going while answering my yelps for assistance if a gear or belt comes loose. He’s been a foundational support and without him, this project would have felt insurmountable.
automatic printing company has been supporting us along with Friday 2 on Vinton with complimentary printing for over a year now, and I’m so thankful for Michael Prescott, Julie Prescott Burgess and their family for the beautiful work they do and willingness to offer their support. It means so much to know they are behind us and love when I see them out and about during art walks.
We’ve officially received sponsorship donations from Robert H. Culver Jr., Debo Reilly-Culver, Christian Christensen and Debra Cruise Christensen and Gary Toth. I’m humbled and thrilled to have this financial backing to assure we can cover costs for the fundraiser and so thankful to these individuals for investing in what we’re building by sharing their precious resources with us. I know there are more sponsorships coming, and I’ll be posting and thanking as they come. We’ve also sold some tickets to a few devoted followers and it means the world that people are willing to pay for a ticket and come out to celebrate with us!
