Hey Everybody! The vacation is over for Cheeky Rabbit Puppets and we’re back chasing dragons this Friday at Benson First Friday. Three performances starting at 6 pm and also some jazz stylings by Gunar Huff and Wanda the Wolf. Find us in the Benson Community Center parking lot right next to the Benson library.

I’m a humble and not a cheeky rabbit today. I’ve realized that my library audiences, while discerning and appreciative, are generally under four years old. Our marionette shows that play so well to salon and festival audiences of all ages are maybe a little over the top for the very young. I will say, the audience is invariably attentive, but I feel like I’m not giving them the right content. Although two tiny baby girls sat for quite a while gently petting our dragon, Princeeater Speciallygeorge, and letting him nibble on their toes. It’s a learning process.
