I’m a humble and not a cheeky rabbit today. I’ve realized that my library audiences, while discerning and appreciative, are generally under four years old. Our marionette shows that play so well to salon and festival audiences of all ages are maybe a little over the top for the very young. I will say, the audience is invariably attentive, but I feel like I’m not giving them the right content. Although two tiny baby girls sat for quite a while gently petting our dragon, Princeeater Speciallygeorge, and letting him nibble on their toes. It’s a learning process.
