We offer teen and kids dance classes in a variety of styles: ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and more! At MLDC we strive to emphasize proper technique in a distinctively creative and fun environment. Here you'll not only watch your children develop as dancers, but grow as artists. We are unique in providing affordable dance classes in Omaha, while also offering fantastic technique are creating highly

competitive dancers. Our teachers have degrees in relevant areas such as dance, elementary education or professional experience. Each instructor has 20+ years of dance experience and talents that make our program well rounded and exciting for

If you were an advanced dancer back in the day but it’s been a while this class is for you!! 💃

This class is for dancers 18+. Since this class is for dancers who had an extensive background in dance, the class will move faster than the standard adult class. But we will also keep in mind that it may have been a few years (nothing too crazy).

We are doing a pop-up Jazz class for MLDC and any adult dancer! If you were an advanced or competitive dancer back in the day but it has been a while, this is for you! We will do a good warm up, some across the floor (no leg hold turns ;)), and a fun combo.
Monday June 29th 7-8:15pm! $15!
Please register on Studio Director.
Studio is closed for all other classes that week.

Theater Etiquette 🎭

DO arrive early! Plan to leave your home with extra time to spare. You should be in your seat when the show is starting, not looking for your row in the dark.

DON’T get up and down constantly during the performance. Do your best to stay in your seat. Use the restroom beforehand and if you do have to excuse yourself, do so quickly and quietly in between dances. You wouldn’t want to block the view of someone else.

DO clap loudly. Our dancers feed off of your energy. You can even clap during the dance if you see something you find entertaining or impressive!

But, DON’T yell out your dancer’s name or wave. While we want you to clap and cheer, it can be distracting if a dancer hears someone calling their name or see them waving- especially for our young dancers.

DO dress up! This is a special occasion for your dancer: a culmination of their year of hard work. It shows them that you care when you take the time to look your best.

DON’T eat in the theater. Unlike a sports game or movie theater, there is no eating at a dance recital. It also causes the theater to become dirty.

DON’T be on your phone. The cell phone light shining is distracting for both other audience members and performers. Your phone should be turned off.

DON’T take photos or videos. We have a professional videographer for that- families get sent a digital download.

DO ENJOY THE SHOW! Our kids have worked hard this year! There is a lot of talent that is up on the stage so enjoy it and cheer them on!
