Halloween fun is coming to Cass Street! Join the Omaha Community Playhouse, Omaha Conservatory of Music, and Omaha Academy of Ballet for Cass St. Trick or Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 9 a.m. to noon at Omaha Conservatory of Music.

Bring the family for a morning of fun activities, performances, and Halloween festivities for kids of all ages. Costumes encouraged!

Choose between full-time (6 shows/week) or part-time (2–3 shows/week) opportunities. Stipends are available.

Today we close our season opener COME FROM AWAY, a production that has brought thousands together.

Show goodbyes aren’t always easy, but what we’re left with are experiences and relationships we carry with us long after the last rollicking curtain call.

Our deepest and “Ganderest” appreciation to our incredible cast, crew, musicians, and team for their commitment, enthusiasm, and telling this extraordinary true story with such love, sincerity and care.

🎻This band. As we head into our final performances of COME FROM AWAY, we give rousing applause and a hearty pub-style "pint-clink" to our musicians.

🌎 The music of Come From Away is a lively, deeply rooted blend of Newfoundland traditional music, Irish and Celtic influences, folk, rock, and contemporary musical theatre. Together, our band (on stage for the full show!) creates a musical landscape that's integral to the story. Just as locations and characters shift seamlessly throughout, so does the music to identify a place, a time, and dramatic and humorous moments, including foot-stomping celebrations. The score is intricate and difficult, yet resembles Newfoundland itself - warm, spirited, and full of heart.

Thank you to our extraordinary group of musicians for being part of this remarkable story.
