Circle Theatre Circle Theatre engages individuals of all abilities in creative opportunities on and off stage. We rehearse at Hanscom Park United Methodist Church. The Alan J.

Levine Performing Arts Center at the JCC is home for our mainstage season performances. Our vision is to demonstrate to our greater communities the value of including individuals of all abilities and ages to the theatre and arts community, providing a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem to all participants.

Disney's High School Musical Jr. - Spring Mainstage

Disney's High School Musical JR. follows Troy, a high school basketball captain, and Gabriella, a shy new student, who discover a shared passion for singing after meeting on a ski trip. This show follows the four Pevensie siblings who are evacuated from London to a country house during World War II. They discover a magical wardrobe that transports them to Narnia, a land enslaved in perpetual winter by the evil White Witch.

Cast Announcement Coming Soon! Our second title had an amazing round of auditions and we can't wait to share our amazing group of actors who will bring this amazing ,TRUE story to life this fall!

Hana's Suitcase - Fall Mainstage
Performance Dates: November 21st at 7:00 PM and 22nd at 2:00 PM
Location: Alan J. Levine Theater, Staenberg Omaha JCC

The play was written by Emil Sher adapted from the book by Karen Levine. This award-winning true Holocaust story, connects generations through one woman’s quest to find the truth behind a mysterious suitcase.

In March 2000, Fumiko Ishioka, the curator of a small Holocaust education center in Tokyo, received an empty suitcase from the museum at Auschwitz. On the outside, in white paint, were the words “Hana Brady, May 16, 1931, Orphan.”

Fumiko and the children at the center were determined to find out who Hana was and what happened to her all those years ago, leading them to a startling and emotional discovery.

Cheers are in order for Alex Mezger who was awarded Outstanding Lighting Design for Millard West's production of " Natasha Pierre, and the Comet of 1812" at the Nebraska High School Theatre Awards!

Alex is a tremendous help to Circle as well! His lighting design for our most recent show, Disney's Descendants: The Musical made our cast shine and look and feel their best!
