The Improviseers have been on a hot streak in the Arena as they go for their 4th consecutive win tonight against The Team W/ No Name! This is also the final Arena on Thursday nights before it moves back to weekly Fridays at 7pm starting next week!

Can they win another? Will they get to 7 wins and make it onto the wall? Will they eventually beat the record of 16 wins? We'll find out tonight if they are one step closer!

We are thrilled to have Connor Ratliff at The Backline Comedy Theatre on Oct 24th performing his one-man show "The Acting Class" and then teaching an improv workshop on Oct 25th! Not only has he been in great shows like the newly released Widow's Bay but also Bob's Burgers, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Ghosts, Don't Think Twice, and many more movies and tv shows, and also a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade NY where he has often performed in shows like ASSSSCAT!

Their very first improv show was great! So proud of the whole class and first-time Intro to Improv teacher Allison Westerdale - Everyone is always nervous until the show is done and goes so well they want to get right back up there in front of a big crowd again! We hate to lose Robyn Helwig but love to see her chase her dreams! She joined The Backline just over a decade ago taking an improv intensive immediately after moving to Omaha to work for The Rose Theatre. Being a huge fan of musical theatre, she developed Backline's musical improv classes and won a number of Omaha Ent. & Arts Awards with her musical duo Pandemic! @ the Disco and our premiere sketch show LIVE! @ The Backline!

These pics are from her Going Away Show/Party and if you missed it you're only other chance to see her again is when she comes back for the Omaha Comedy Fest or else you'll have to visit Oregon!

Very few have made such an impact to Omaha's comedy scene and she'll be greatly missed. Best of luck with everything you do Robyn and see you again at the end of September for one more weekend of shows!

Roast Beef lit up the stage as comics got burnt in front of a hungry crowd this last weekend! Some good friendly humor at times and some absolutely devastating disses in the mix!
