Serious health issues, including “long Covid,” multiple strokes, and a Cerebral Small Vessel Disease diagnosis, resulted in me being forced to quit my high stress career. Although I have always been into artsy things as hobbies, I never spent much time doing anything other than working, volunteering, and raising kids. In spite of my unexpected, early retirement, which was not easy to accept, I am
so grateful to God for bringing me through so much still in one piece! I view my art as a relaxing, creative, fun adventure, and currently create new pieces mainly on a commissioned basis with a 3-7 day turnaround time (depending on the size and complexity requested). Also keep in mind, when considering art pricing and safety, that I only use top quality, food-grade art resin, which contains no BPA or VOC’s. I love water and pretty rocks (minerals, crystals etc.), so most of my art is comprised of ocean or river scenes, and real, quartz crystals and stones.
