Meet the crew: Andy Robichaux, our lights and sound technician for Lesser Detectives!

Andy is an active volunteer in Omaha's community theater scene, sharing his time and talents to help bring productions to life. For Lesser Detectives, he's working behind the scenes to set the mood with lighting and make sure sound cues hit at just the right moment.

When he's not helping make theater magic happen, you might just find him cheering on the Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball team! We're grateful to have Andy sharing his talents with the Florentine Players and helping make the magic happen!

Meet the crew: Mother-daughter duo Molly Byers and Kate Pfeffer are teaming up backstage for our current production of Lesser Detectives!

Molly is a longtime, familiar face at Florence. Her love of theater began at an early age, when she dreamed of growing up to be a talking Easter egg or a green bean! While those dreams didn't quite pan out, she did become a mom, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Through it all, she's remained grateful to be part of the Florentine Players family.

Kate has spent the last 20 years wearing just about every hat Florence has to offer! From heroine to stage manager, director to lights and sound, she's done a little bit of everything. She's happy to be sharing backstage with her mom.

We're lucky to have these two helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Meet the crew - Penny Mauk (Morale Overseer and Mama’s Pocket Companion) - Penny attended almost all of our rehearsals and has been an excellent morale booster for the entire cast and crew. This is Penny’s first foray into theatre and she can’t wait to be on stage herself! Penny enjoys singing, reading, math, K-Pop Demon Hunters, axolotls, and picking on her little brother just for the laughs.
