I’m so excited to announce this trunk show! This Saturday, August 29th, Virag and Hugh will be here with hand made spindle wheels (basically a table top version of the great wheel), drop spindles, hand dyed roving and more! Virag will also be demonstrating and teaching different spinning techniques throughout the day. She may also bring a hand made harp to play! This will be such a fun and interesting day so don’t miss out! If you’ve ever been interested in spinning this is a can’t miss trunk show! Plan to spend plenty of time and don’t leave your wallet at home because their stuff is amazing!!! Starts at 10 am. See you Saturday!

Malabrigo Torzal is finally here! Brand new and just out. So many amazing colors to choose from! This is a sport/dk and will go great with Arroyo.

Also new for me is the Malabrigo Cloud superwash Merino roving. Lots of great colors for spinning!

Have you ever wanted to learn how to spin your own yarn? It is so fun and satisfying to turn beautiful roving into yarn that you can knit, crochet, or weave with! Helga Fensterman will teach the basics of spinning as well as fiber preparation. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity! Don’t have a wheel? No problem! Helga will bring several wheels so you can try spinning without the expense and commitment of purchasing your own wheel. If you do own a wheel but never really learned how to use it, bring it along! This will be a very
fun afternoon of spinning with friends and you will learn skills you can use for a lifetime! The class fee is $80 and is scheduled for two 2 1/2 hour sessions. The first class is Saturday, August 15 from 1-3:30 pm and the follow up session is Saturday, August 22nd from 1-3:30. You must be able to attend both sessions. Everyone will receive 8 oz. of roving in various types of fiber to try. The knowledge you gain will be priceless! Call the shop at 402.932.2157 to register.
