This is me today when I came up with an idea for the "haunt" this year. Assuming we can achieve this idea, we won't have the actual haunt again this year, but this will still be something worth visiting for! For now, it's a secret.

A look at our yard and mini walk-through we had this year. The haunt WILL be back (on a much smaller scale). I'll post updates when plans have been better discussed. 🎃

We've had so many kids stop by to ask about the Haunt that we had to put up a sign. Bittersweet. I feel bad, but it's sweet to see how many truly loved our haunt. We mayyy not be done forever... we'll keep everyone posted.
But for now, please consider swinging by on Halloween. 🎃

Please consider swinging by on Halloween. We may not have a Haunt this year, but we are still putting in the work to make our yard look spooky and building a fun small walk-through up to our front door to get candy (and we'll have the good stuff 🎃😉).
**The yard should be done by end of this weekend, but the walk-through is really only open on Halloween**

🎃 A Tarafying Update 🎃

After three incredible years of screams, fog, laughter, and unforgettable memories, we've made the bittersweet decision to retire our backyard haunt.

This wasn’t an easy choice—we’ve absolutely loved being part of your Halloween season and creating something spooky and special for the community. What started as a small idea turned into something so much bigger, and that’s all thanks to YOU—our amazing supporters, neighbors, and fellow Halloween lovers.

We can’t thank you enough for the love, encouragement, and visits over the past three years. From the very first jump scare to our last night of frights, it’s been a wild, wonderful ride.

We also want to give a special thank you to our incredible haunt actors. You brought our twisted little world to life in ways we could have never imagined, and your dedication, energy, and eerie talents were a huge part of what made our haunt so unforgettable. We’re endlessly grateful for everything you gave (and screamed 😈).

While we won’t be hosting a haunt this year, we’re still embracing the Halloween season in a big way—just from the other side of the fence. We’ll be decorating our front yard, visiting other local haunts, dressing up the pups, and soaking up every ounce of spooky joy we can.

So if you drive by this Fall, expect some eerie enchantment on the lawn—and if we see you on Halloween, still expect a goodie bag and perhaps still a little something spooky to walk through to get it. 👻😉

Thank you for making A Tarafying Haunt on Ohio something we’ll never forget. Stay spooky, and we’ll see you out there in the pumpkin patches and on the haunted trails. 🎃🖤

If you missed our haunt this year, have no fear (unlike if you'd have come to visit 😉), here's a quick walk-through of our haunt the 1st weekend we were open.
