Cover-up 👹🔥
We covered the old tattoo with a Japanese demon mask.
The design was created specifically so the old lines would disappear into the darkest parts of the new tattoo.

The negative space was planned with the body flow in mind, so we can easily continue it into a full sleeve in the future.

Done in one session. We might do a little touch-up in the future.

WHY YOU SHOULDN’T COPY OTHER ARTISTS TATTOOS:

To someone scrolling online, it may look like just another tattoo. But behind a custom piece there is usually much more — a client’s idea, conversations, sketches, freehand work, adjustments, and hours spent creating something specifically for one person.

There’s nothing wrong with being inspired by other artists. We all are.

But inspiration should lead to something new. When you copy a finished custom design, you’re not only copying another artist’s work — you’re also taking something that was created to be personal and unique for their client.

Use references to learn and get inspired. Then make it your own.

The circle between the wings was already there, and my client’s request was to keep it and have the wings flow naturally around it.

A good cover-up isn’t about hiding an old tattoo. It’s about creating a new design that flows naturally with the existing lines, making it impossible to tell there was ever a tattoo underneath🖤

По-перше хочу подякувати і за те, що запросили. Це було неочікувано, і маю за честь бути з вами в одній команді, ви великі молодці, що не зупиняєтесь і приділяєте неймовірну увагу до найдрібніших деталей. Закордонним фестам ще вчитись і вчитись порівняно з вами🤌 А квіти в саме серденько🥹
По-друге і ніби брати мені були увесь цей час. Ви дуже круті і як люди, і як майстри. Сприймаю за честь стояти поруч з вами😌🤝

Насправді, це був лише мій другий досвід у суддівському складі, і дивлячись назад, я пишаюсь собою за те, що завжди гідно сприймала поразки, надто не пишалась перемогами і ніколи-ніколи не поливала «помиями» заходи у яких брала участь чи людей, що їх створюють. Бо, в моєму розумінні, це не гідно.
Завдяки цим людям у нас є комʼюніті у найскладніший період нашого життя.
Енівей, дуже щаслива була усіх побачити, привітатись, познайомитись, обійнятись.
