I’m thrilled to share that one of my photographs will be featured in the 2024 Regional Photography Biennial! This piece has not been shown before, and I’m honored that it was selected by this year's judge, the renowned Keith F. Davis, for this exhibition.

It’s a privilege to be part of this event, showcasing the work of talented photographers from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Wyoming, and South Dakota.

**Join us for the public opening on Friday, October 4th, from 6-9 PM at the , located at 1516 Leavenworth St., Omaha, NE.**

Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa, sorry, but it's only Ruby-throated hummingbirds for us. Despite our lack of variety, these little flying toothpicks are so fun to watch! Their legs are so short they can't walk or hop. Despite this limitation, they migrate to Mexico in a single flight, crossing the Gulf of Mexico.

Canada Geese (yup, it's not Canadian) are everywhere in the US, but we nearly lost them in the early 1900s from hunting and habitat loss. These birds have an interesting way to choose their mates: they pick another goose that is similar in size, and they stick with them for life!
