Anyone want to help distribute food for an hour or two on Saturday? Or one Saturday a month in the future?

If you appreciate what we do and have considered getting involved in something of this sort please reach out. In particular we could use help on the day of the distribution, talking to neighbors, and putting together bags of food and other items. No learning curve or commitment, just show up, do a thing, then carry on with the rest of your Saturday.

Media Corp. no longer has a physical location.
So, starting this month the Midtown Mutual Aid food distribution is moving to another location very near by.

615 N 33rd. St

It’s the building near the laundromat with the blue wall that has the “We Are You” mural on it.

You’ll have to park on the street where you can. Parking can be a challenge in this location.

As many of you know, Media Corp. is losing the space it occupies. We have been informed we need to vacate by the beginning of July. We always knew this space would not be indefinite, that it would eventually be redeveloped. We had imagined that someday Media Corp., or the basic idea of it, would exist is some other capacity in different or bigger space. The timeline we are now looking at much shorter that we'd imagined. It's been a stressful week for us personally, and we are faced with a number of interrelated decisions to be made in the near future.

Many folks have contributed ideas, energy, labor of all kinds to make Media Corp. the community it grew to become.
We are open to and looking for suggestions about spaces available, folks to collaborate with, etc... Tell us why we should live in your neighborhood.

This is an interview we did with Amplify Arts. This was pre-pandemic, and some things have changed, but much of it still hold true to our hearts. It's worth a listen.
