Olympia Little Theatre (OLT) is a community theatre, operated by volunteers. Founded in 1939, Olympia Little Theatre (OLT) is the oldest live theater in Olympia and one of the oldest in Washington State. WHEN NO SHOW IS RUNNING

When there is no show running, please call the OLT office and leave a message. Your call is important to us and will be returned as soon as possible. Please allow at least 48 hours for a response as the office manager's hours vary. We can always use people to help with props, lighting, sound, costumes and stage management - we welcome and rely on volunteers in almost every aspect of our theatre operations. Audition Announcement-Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery by Ken Ludwig and directed by Paul Fouhy

You do not need to prepare anything. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

Characters:

Sherlock Holmes: 30s to 40s, highly intelligent, confident, quick witted, savors adventure. All genders are encouraged to audition.

Dr. Watson: 30s to 40s, smart, grounded, full of heart and wonder, loves adventure. All genders are encouraged to audition.

Actor 1: Show versatility physically and vocally. Some fun accents. Plays over ten roles. All genders are encouraged to audition.

It is not necessary to show up to multiple audition dates but you are welcome to if you would like. Please keep in mind that actors who have already auditioned on a previous date may be asked to wait to read until new auditioners have had a chance. No appointment needed. Simply show up at the listed date and time. Break a leg!

Rehearsals are typically Monday through Thursday but this is up to the director. Additional rehearsals and/or the rehearsal schedule are at the Director’s discretion. Director is looking to have the first rehearsal potentially be on September 8th at 7:00pm.

CALL FOR ARTISTS! In the past we have displayed several different types of paintings, photographer's work, quilting exhibits, wood art, and more! There's no limit-just show us what you got. Please read carefully.

Olympia Little Theatre is looking to display the work of at least one artist per show for our 26-27 season. Each artist has the opportunity to display their work in our lobby area for the entire three week run of one show of the season. We do NOT charge for use of the space or commission if you sell a piece. This is an entirely free space for you to showcase your art. You may submit with another artist or by yourself.

To submit yourself for consideration, please email [email protected] with your name, one or two sentences about yourself and your work, and photos of at least 4 pieces you would like to display so we can get an idea of the full exhibit. Thank you!

Call for artists! In the past we have displayed several different types of paintings, photographer's work, quilting exhibits, wood art, and more! There's no limit-just show us what you got. Please read carefully.

Olympia Little Theatre is looking for those interested in displaying their art in the lobby for one of our shows in the 26-27 season! Each artist sets up and displays their chosen pieces for the entire 3 weekend run of one show of the season. We have seven shows with six spots currently available. While we often match the art to the themes of the show, it is not a requirement. Artists display their art at no cost to them and are not charged a commission on any sold pieces (you do not have to be interested in selling to display your art) though donations are always appreciated and never required.

If you would like to submit yourself for consideration, please email with your name, a couple sentences about yourself/your art, and photos of four or more of the pieces that you would like to display. If you would like to request to be considered to display your art during a specific show, please also include that in your email. Descriptions of our shows can be found on our website. There is already an artist for Baskerville but all other slots are open. Thank you!
