We started out by creating a space for artists to display their work and teach classes to the Olympia community. This month, we've expanded our membership to include musicians, as well as opened up two retail spots within the gallery. Painting classes with local artist Becky Bump — August and September at The Carpenter’s House in downtown Olympia.

Becky Bump is a Pacific Northwest artist known for dreamlike, nature-inspired paintings full of earthly color, ethereal light, and a little bit of magic. This summer and early fall, she’s teaching two ongoing class formats at The Carpenter’s House gallery on Legion Way:

🎨 Family Painting — a relaxed, kid-friendly afternoon where parents, grandparents, and little ones paint side by side. All ages welcome, all supplies provided, every family leaves with finished paintings.

🍷 Adult Paint & Sip — a two-hour evening class for grown-ups with drinks available on site, guided step by step by Becky. No experience required, every skill level welcome, walk out with a finished piece you’ll actually want to hang.
