Here's a little behind-the-scenes look at our last Fakers rehearsal in preparation for our show tomorrow! "But if it's improvised, why would you rehearse?"

Improv rehearsal is not like a play rehearsal where actors are memorizing lines. It's about running our games and playing together with new suggestions all the time, so we can stay sharp, keep improving our listening, and just have fun with each other. It is also a lab where we get to practice new games and get confident with them before bringing them to a show. Sometimes stuff doesn't work. Most times, we crack each other up!

Want to see what all that practice looks like in front of an audience? Come laugh with us this Friday! Lots of games, music, singing, laughs... and just the right amount of chaos.

Every year, since we decided to be a thing 4 years ago, the Fakers get together and hold a retreat. It’s a special time we take for playing, to ground ourselves as a troupe and make sure we’re on the same page, to revisit our mission and values, to revise our goals and to plan for the future. We can’t wait to start rolling out what’s in store for next season!! Brace yourselves for a great time!! The Fakers are coming!! 🀩✨
