Yuliya’s Story

Yuliya Lockyear is performing classical violinist/violist and piano, violin and viola trilingual tutor.

Yuliya Lockyear is an instructor at Lower Columbia College and a member of the Southwest Symphony Orchestra. She manages her own music studio in Longview, WA, where she teaches piano, violin and viola lessons. Yuliya has performed and taught in Ukraine, Italy, Poland, Germany, Canada, and the USA since 2009. Yuliya is a trilingual music instructor (English, Russian, Ukrainian). Before moving to the USA, she worked as a professional musician for Holland America Line and Princess Cruises. She holds a Master's Degree in Music from Southern Louisiana University, LA, a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Odessa State Nezhdanova Music Academy, and is the 1st prize winner of the 21st Century International Music Competition from Europe.
