"Of all the shows Harlequin Productions (HQP) has put on, this is the one I have looked forward to most.

Ever since high school, I've dreamed of seeing Thornton Wilder’s "Our Town" on stage. I remain abundantly grateful to Harlequin Productions not only for fulfilling a personal life goal, but for doing so with meaningful attention to detail and a strong sense of heart — something you can feel in every moment of this lovely production."

Behind-the-scenes intel from sound designer Keith Jewell:

"The school bell sound effect for OUR TOWN came from the local Delphi School, a preserved local one-room schoolhouse that was an active school from 1910 to 1942. That school bell was used to call 33 years worth of students to the building. The hardest part of getting the recording was convincing the nearby dogs not to bark along with the bell."

You will hear this hyper-local sound effect throughout OUR TOWN, opening Oct 2. Thank you Keith!
