Hi folks! With the combination of winter weather and outages followed by the holiday stretch, we decided to extend the application deadline by a week for a little more breathing room. Artists now have through NEXT Saturday Jan 10th to submit applications for the 2026 tour. Head over to southsoundstudiotour.org/apply to fill yours out. New and returning artists alike are encouraged to apply!

Info sessions are a great way to learn more about participating in the Tour, how to apply, and what to expect during the days of the event. Join us to talk with members of the board and ask any questions you may have!

We’ve been busy behind the scenes and are thrilled to be coming back for another year. We can’t wait to see you!

Get a head start planning your free, self-guided tour to studios throughout Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater next spring by visiting SouthSoundStudioTour.org .

And ARTISTS mark your calendars! Applications for the 2026 tour will open December 1 and close January 3.

Join us this evening, Friday 5/16 from 5-7pm for the Artist Reception of "First Stop" at Childhood's End Gallery!

"First Stop,” on view now at Childhood's End Gallery, is an exhibition showcasing the range of mediums and methodologies featured on the South Sound Studio Tour. This gallery exhibit gives art lovers the opportunity to pre-plan their tour weekend and to revisit their favorite artists’ work following the tour, or discover those they may not have seen.
