A tug of a sage gate reveals a beautiful garden. Step further into a courtyard in Millvale and you’ll find a phone booth tucked away in the corner. A Telephone of the Wind, connected to…well, that’s up to you.

This Telephone of The Wind is on the secluded trail just above
the Marine Technology Lab at the north end of Seahurst Park in Burien, WA. Amy and Greg Brancati were inspired to create The Telephone of the Wind after visiting Squaxin Park in Olympia. They created the phone in honor of their son, Lewis.

The idea behind the phone is to give somebody who is grieving a lost one, the chance to say one final goodbye. For those who never got to say goodbye, or for those who are having a hard time moving on after losing a loved one, it gives them the opportunity to pick up the phone and let it all out
