This city scape is the first painting I remember painting. I was 5 years old, my Dad took a leftover piece of wallpaper and mounted it on a board which became my canvas. He showed me how to overlap the buildings to give depth and even how to sign my name. My Dad would have been 90 years old this month, he was a Da Vinci, scientist, inventor, artist and architect. We never had a repairman in our home. He taught me to love nature, to see the beauty in creation. It’s been over 10 years since he has been gone, I’m grateful for all he taught me.
