We are thrilled to kick off Corn Capital Days week with this fun, energetic, and colorful event for the youth in our communities. Participants can expect plenty of color, laughter, and excitement as we celebrate the start of a great week of festivities!

📅 This Week at the Community Center! 📅

Get ready to put your engineering skills to the test! Throughout the week, we’ll be building Popsicle Stick Bridges and seeing whose design can hold the most weight.

🏗️ Build your bridge during community center activities this week.
💪 At the end of the challenge, we’ll test each bridge to see which one is the strongest.
🏆 The winner will receive a Community Center Punch Card!

This is a fun activity for all ages, so bring your creativity, problem-solving skills, and competitive spirit. We can’t wait to see what you build!

Looking for ways to keep the kids busy this week? Stop by the Community Center for a week full of fun activities, games, crafts, and opportunities to connect with friends! We hope to see lots of kids stopping in to engage, explore, and make the most of their summer.

Don’t forget that Cornland is open for our youngest visitors to enjoy with a parent or other adult. It’s the perfect place for little ones to play, imagine, and have fun together.

And when the Community Center closes at 1:00 p.m., the fun doesn’t have to end! Head over to the Community Pool for Open Swim, available Monday through Friday from 1:30–3:30 p.m.

The best part? We’ll be offering this type of weekly summer programming through mid-August, so there are plenty of opportunities to join the fun all summer long!

There is so much summer fun happening in our city—come make memories with us!
