So scary! Guess who….
Every Halloween I wanted to be a witch in this black outfit my mom made with green paint on my face and hands, black teeth, and long black slip on nail things. I think it’s because I loved the cackle so much.
Nothing’s changed.

Some of my favorite things right here.
1. The most beautiful good smelling arrangement from one of my dearest friends.
2. The quilted coaster made by a super talented lady from my first trip to the Lucky Star Art Camp in Texas.
3. The big Walter Anderson deer print that my bestie taught me to watercolor on.
4. Terry Redlin “America the Beautiful Classics” series of pen drawings.
5. The giant couch I can’t part with that sinks you in that came out of storage in someone’s garage and just happened to fit perfectly AND is the same exact color of my walls that have never been painted in almost 25yrs.
6. The collection of random pillows, one of which has coffee stain on it where I spilled a whole mug all over the pillow AND couch last week. It smelled like a coffee shop in here for days.
7. The super cheap marketplace table that I forced Barry to go get that’s kinda janky with a leg coming off if you move it and the “leather” is peeling…but it has drawers for alllll those toys for the kiddos so it’s just perfect as is.
8. And my wooden tray gifted to me years ago that I use every single day. It’s perfect for so many things, even as a lap desk all those random paper drawings I love to do.

One of the drawbacks of having a teeny tiny waffle iron. (This is a half size piece of bread)

You walk in the gas station and say can I have $5 worth of Cheetos please? EVERY bigger bag of Cheetos was gone. They had every weird flavor of Cheetos and every other kind of chips. What is the deal? Do all the teachers love Cheetos and everybody’s buying them for teacher appreciation week?? do all the graduates want Cheetos?? maybe everybody’s buying them for Mother’s Day?? Inquiring minds want to know. Are you a Cheeto fan?

Just a collection of bizarre things I’ve seen recently. They made me 😊.

We matched today! My mom is looking cute in her new blouse her sweet Sharland gave her. She’s enjoying warm porch sitting weather these days. ☀️ 🩷
And look at my cute hand drawn and fabulously created earrings by my friend Becky! She’s super talented and makes some amazing things. They’re really lightweight too. Check out her page.
And I can’t forget that badge lanyard my friend made for me when I worked at the elementary school. I admit it. I hoard things. Things that are valuable and might come in handy one day. It works perfectly now for the life alert button and looks so fashionable. It only took 20yrs to find a new use. 🤣

My little studio girl did such a great job on her habitat! She even let Whoopsie be her assistant. I’m so thankful she has such a love for art and creating things. 🩷
