Clay on Main

Clay on Main clay on main is a non-profit clay studio that allows artists time and space to create. We serve the local community with a variety of clay arts programs.

We teach community classes and workshops in clay for adults and children, host professional workshops, collaborate with other non-profit organizations to offer learning opportunities through art, and hold public lectures and events.

We welcome Spirit Wing, the contemporary Native American musical group, to Clay on Main, both in the gallery and the Half Moon Cafe. Barbara Andrews-Christy plays Native American Flute, does vocals, and paints in an impressionist style. Barbara also follows Native beadwork tradition with the elaborate earrings that dangle or are more reserved, along with necklaces and Dream Catchers, an Ojibwa tradition. Barry Lee is a guitarist, singer, and painter exploring themes of native amercian folklore and storytelling.

Closing Reception May 31st 4-6pm
