To perform and present a variety of theatrical productions focused on children and family theater. To offer seminars, workshops and classes which maintain programs that further the educational goals of the organization. To work closely with schools and youth organizations in making a positive, sustained, and creative impact in the area of arts and music education especially through sponsorship of

the Houghton String Festival. To bring “Shakespeare in the Park” to our rural community by presenting Shakespeare in Historic Oak Hill Park.

Shakespeare is announced!
Come audition June 16th and 17th at 7pm both nights at The Workshop for: King Lear!

Having reached the age of 80, the widowed King Lear calls his nobles together to announce his intention to pass on the cares and responsibility of monarchy to his three daughters. His eldest, Goneril, is married to the Duke of Albany and his middle child, Regan, is married to the Duke of Cornwall. At the court are the Duke of Burgundy and the King of France, both hoping to marry Lear's youngest daughter Cordelia, but before dividing his kingdom, however, Lear challenges his daughters to prove which of them loves him best.

Shakespeare in the Park will be performed the 2nd weekend in August in Oak Hill Park. All are welcomed to audition and nothing needs to be prepared!
