8 week pottery classes begin 4/27/26!!!!
We have day, evening and weekend classes to fit your schedule! Sign up today to begin your pottery journey at Earth and Fire Pottery Studio on Main st in Old Saybrook Ct.
As a beginner student you will learn the fundamentals of creating with clay. You will discover the many ways to form clay, both on and off the pottery wheel, into functional and decorative art made from the earth.
Potters with prior experience will feel at home in our intermediate and mixed level classes where studio time is focused on their own specific goals and projects. The flexibility in the intermediate/mixed level classes allows for a self guided curriculum with the professional guidance of studio owner/artist and instructor, Julie Tigner.
Julie has spent nearly 29 years with her hands in the clay and brings knowledge from a college level ceramic education to her more recent international pottery travels and retreats, as well as, continuing education workshops with studios across New England.
