Mmmm, loving this Bow Drill! It feels so good to create something that feels exceptional, and is a perfect example of what makes us all "creators" our ability to continually learn and modify, learn and modify, learn and modify until you end up with a fine tuned thing that is a product of all your time and focus to that specific thing. And it never stops, forever fine tuning, And its related to every facet of life.
I've really started fine tuning the way I make bow drills anymore.. very specific, I've become increasingly picky about the shape and weight. The handle with grooved in cord is very intentional also. I've found that for me this is the best way to attach a cord because it's really easy to un-tie and re-adjust for spindle tension, and doesn't loosen up after loading and un-loading a spindle a couple of times, and my fingers fit perfectly under the cord so there is no interference there. The whole thing just feels so Dang Good! ♥️🐞🐛🦋🐜
