🐶 Blessing of the Animals -- these FREE events will be taking place all over metro Atlanta this weekend, Oct. 3rd and 4th, in honor of St. Francis Day.

😇 St. Francis was the patron saint of animals.
⛪ The Blessing events take place at local churches and parks.

😻 In general, you can bring any pet for the blessing -- cats, dogs, small mammals, reptiles, birds. Just make sure they are safely contained or leashed.

🧸 You can also bring a picture of your pet, if you think she will be too stressed to come in person.
