The Pentagon has temporarily withdrawn detailed clinical guidance for its new mandatory testosterone-screening program for U.S. service members — less than a day after publishing it.

The guidance called for screening troops 30 and older during annual health assessments, with questionnaires, possible blood testing and treatment for diagnosed deficiencies. But by Thursday, the document and an accompanying Pentagon statement had disappeared from government websites.

A Pentagon official said the draft was “temporarily rescinded to allow for updates.” Importantly, the underlying interim policy remains in effect, meaning the broader testosterone-screening initiative has not been canceled.

New $1 coins bearing President Donald Trump’s portrait appeared to sell out just hours after the U.S. Mint released them Wednesday as part of America’s 250th-anniversary celebration.

Sales opened at noon ET. By the afternoon, the 100-coin bags were unavailable and 25-coin rolls were listed as out of stock, with the Mint indicating additional inventory was being produced. 

Despite their gold appearance, the coins contain no gold. They are legal-tender $1 coins made primarily of copper, with Trump’s portrait on one side and the Presidential Seal on the other.

North Korea has built a sprawling remote-worker operation designed to get its operatives onto the payrolls — and inside the computer systems — of American companies.

The workers use stolen or fabricated identities, fake résumés and U.S.-based “laptop farms” to disguise where they actually are. Once hired, they can perform legitimate work while funneling earnings back to North Korea — and potentially gain access to sensitive company information.

U.S. officials say these schemes collectively generate hundreds of millions of dollars annually. Treasury said North Korean IT-worker operations generated nearly $800 million in 2024 alone.

The U.S. military carried out one of its most complex operations of the Iran conflict Tuesday, simultaneously striking nearly 60 Iranian military targets and protecting 40 commercial vessels carrying about 18 million barrels of oil through the Strait of Hormuz.

American forces used air, naval and space-based assets while fending off waves of Iranian drones and neutralizing anti-ship cruise missiles during the es**rt. The 18-million-barrel transit marked a wartime high and approached the roughly 20 million barrels that moved through the critical waterway each day before the war.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis’ attorney is challenging how jurors reached their historic guilty verdict in the murder of Tupac Shakur, arguing they did not spend enough time reviewing the evidence.

Defense attorney Michael Sanft says the jury’s less-than-three-hour deliberation suggests jurors may have entered deliberations with “preconceived notions.” Nevada law, however, sets no minimum amount of time a jury must deliberate.

Davis was convicted of first-degree murder for orchestrating the 1996 Las Vegas shooting. Sanft says an appeal is planned, including challenges involving evidence admitted before trial. Davis is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 13.

Tiger Woods will be barred from driving for five years after reaching a plea deal Wednesday in the Florida case stemming from his March rollover crash.

Woods, 50, pleaded no contest to reduced charges after prosecutors dropped the more serious DUI count, saying evidence was insufficient to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that hydrocodone impaired him. The judge imposed concurrent five-year license suspensions and roughly $1,500 in fines. 

The judge gave Woods a stark warning: there are no exceptions to the driving ban, and driving during the suspension could send him back to jail.

U.S. forces are striking targets connected to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps near the strategically critical Strait of Hormuz. The military says the action follows recent attempted Iranian attacks against commercial shipping and American service members in the region. 

The strikes come just one day after President Donald Trump warned Iran that the United States would “hit them hard” following renewed Iranian attacks on U.S. forces.

The jury deciding the fate of Massachusetts mother Lindsay Clancy says it is unable to reach a unanimous verdict after more than 17 hours of deliberations in the closely watched murder trial.

Clancy, 36, is charged with killing her three young children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — inside their Duxbury home in January 2023. She does not dispute killing the children; the central question is whether she was criminally responsible because of her mental state at the time. 

Judge William Sullivan has ordered jurors to return to the deliberation room and keep trying to reach a verdict. If the jury ultimately remains deadlocked, the case could end in a mistrial.

BREAKING: Nearly 30 years after Tupac Shakur was gunned down in Las Vegas, a jury has delivered the first murder conviction in the case.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis was found guilty of first-degree murder for orchestrating the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed the 25-year-old rap icon. Jurors reached their decision after less than three hours of deliberations.  

Prosecutors never claimed Davis pulled the trigger. They argued he organized the retaliatory attack, obtained the gun and provided it to the men in the Cadillac that pulled alongside Tupac’s BMW.

Davis, 63, now faces the possibility of life in prison. 

For a case that haunted hip-hop for three decades, the verdict is historic.

BREAKING: Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has submitted his resignation to President Donald Trump, following months of reported clashes with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the direction and leadership of the U.S. Army. 

Driscoll, a close friend of Vice President JD Vance, had once been viewed inside the administration as a possible future replacement for Hegseth. His relationship with the defense secretary instead deteriorated amid disagreements over senior Army personnel and Hegseth’s removal of several high-ranking officers. 

The White House praised Driscoll’s service but did not publicly give a reason for his departure. His resignation adds to an extraordinary period of turnover at the top of the military.
