I’m thinking most vintage/antique vendors have experienced what the pics show. Loss of a fragile item. Seems that no matter how careful you are something gets jostled or in the way, falls and shatters. It not the loss of potential income for me but the loss of a tiny bit someone’s history. Oh well…☹️ hey, at least the light still works.

Well, step 1 is complete for the big move. The Good Bones booth is cleaned out and everything has been moved into the new The Lamp Guy booth. Step 2 is next. Everything is in disarray at the moment and may take me a few hours to have it looking good. Okay, maybe a few days. 😁😎

Howdy friends and neighbors. Got a sort of big announcement for y’all. After 10 years of having the Good Bones name I’ve decided to change the name to something that reflects what I’m doing in the way of vintage/antique items.

When Peggy and I started Good Bones in 2016 we were doing more furniture restoration and creation. Little focus on other things except maybe a few custom lamps. Now we seldom do anything with furniture. Probably due to being older and less enthusiastic about lifting and moving it. On the other hand I sell collectibles (think Hot Wheels, plastic models, old knives), you know guy stuff we liked as kids and young adults.

So the big news in our little world is a name change. From Good Bones, LLC to The Lamp Guy. Catchy huh? Transition to new name will be slow but steady. If you see something from “The Lamp Guy” just remember that it’s me and previously Good Bones.

Thanks y’all. 👊🏻👍🏻
