Enjoy this look back at our spectacular Summer Broadway 2026 production of "Little Shop of Horrors"! We are grateful that this amazing cast, wonderful directing team, devoted crew, and rocking band gathered together to make a truly memorable show. If you were in the audience for this one, you made the right choice...just remember; don't feed the plants.

The Culture House has been in full motion for the past week; and it's been awesome to welcome back our tight-knit community of returning students...plus all the new families who've just started!

Dance, Theatre and Art classes are open for enrollment now. Our School of Music has ongoing enrollment with private lessons (voice, guitar, piano, and more!) arranged directly through the teachers.

If you've thought about starting dance, and you are a fan of a certain ❄frozen-favorite movie--this is the time for you! The Culture House School of Dance will perform "Snow Queen" in early June 2027 with ALL our enrolled dance students participating!

The Culture House is buzzing with activity in our first week of fall classes! Theatre, Dance, and Art students are back in their creative grooves and auditions for our upcoming musicals are THIS Friday night - Aug. 21st.

➡Anne of Green Gables, The Musical (intermediate students | ages 8-14)
➡Holiday Inn (intermediate/advance students | ages 13-18)

To audition, students must be enrolled in a TCH School of Dance or School of Theatre class. If you are not ready to be in a musical yet--we are here to welcome you to class so you can start your theatre (or dance) journey!

Our Dance Program features weekly evening classes for ages 3 to adult in Creative Movement, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, and 🔥Boys' / Young Men's Dance and Conditioning.

In Theatre, we offer Acting for ages 7-20 at several levels of experience, Musical Theatre Performance at two skill levels, Audition Fundamentals, Improv, and a BRAND NEW option: "Sleight of Hand" Magic Club!

Our Art classes include several levels and styles of Drawing, Art Exploration, and Digital Art.

Meanwhile, enrollment in our Private Music Lessons is always ongoing, with teachers available for new students seeking instruction in voice, piano, and multiple instruments.

With four artistic disciplines to enjoy, The Culture House is here for YOU to experience the beauty and creativity of the arts!

Surprise! Thanks to the diligent sleuthing of our local media outlets, our big announcement leaked earlier than expected! The secret is out!

For 30 years, we have loved serving our community through the arts. Today, we are thrilled to share what’s next! We are partnering with Oak Park Mall, CBL Properties, and the City of Overland Park to usher in the next era of The Culture House.

First, we plan to build a new Culture House Conservatory of the Arts to serve our Pre-K through 12th-grade students and families, offering our youth programs in dance, theatre, music, and art.

Second, and the MAJOR announcement, is the development of a 900-seat performing arts center. This new theater space will, of course, serve our current and future students and families, but it will also be available to local companies, national tours, etc. We truly believe this space will anchor our thriving performing arts community.

We look forward to sharing the other programs and features that will be a part of the theater center. There is still a ton of work to be done! Get ready, Kansas City!

Disney's Winnie the Pooh Kids | March 11-13, 2027 (Age 6-12)
The Sound of Music Youth Edition | April 1-3, 2027 (Age 9-13)

All shows will take place at TCH Stage & Studio at Oak Park Mall.

To audition, students MUST be enrolled in a theatre and/or dance class for the year.
