Fun in the kitchen for kids on an inservice school day!

Instructor Natasha will guide students in making a yummy dessert, as well as teach safe practices in dicing and paring. Each student will enjoy a fresh apple crisp sample, and create & bake their own single serving crisp in a disposable dish to take home, along with a recipe to follow and make later for their family. Space is limited! Ages 9 - 13 years .

Music and Art - a fabulous combination!
Don't miss the last Dick Bauman Big Band performance of the season on Labor Day. Monday, September 7 from 7-9pm!

We had another fantastic audience last night. It's always great to see so many friends. Kathy Batman attends MANY music events in the area and was busy sketching again last night. There's only one more Monday night to see the Dick Bauman Big Band this summer. We hope to see you Labor Day at the Pearson Lakes Art Center 7-9 pm!

Casting call for K-8th Graders!

The Tortoise and the Hare is part of Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project and is presented by The Pearson Lakes Art Center.

Open auditions are for 50-60 student roles, plus 4 assistant directors for K-8th graders. All students are encouraged to audition. Most students rehearse around 4 hours per day.

No advance preparation is necessary, but each student must pre-register.
Registration cost is $25. Before registering your child, please make sure your child is able to attend all required rehearsals and show performances. If more than 60 children audition, not all children auditioning will receive a part. If your child does not receive a role, the $25 registration fee will be refunded.
