Our Next Cast/Crew Spotlight is our Amazing Stage Manager: Olivia Allen!

What was your first dream job?
My first dream job was either to be a lawyer or a doctor. (I still plan on being a doctor one day so... stay tuned)

Who's a woman you love?
I love every woman in my life! I get so much inspiration, support, and encouragement from women every. single. day. One woman I especially love is my mom, Sara. She is so kind, strong, and determined; I want to be just like her!

What was a moment that made you proudest to be a woman?
How can I choose one moment?? Every day I wake up and I’m like: “Heck yeah!” I am proud and excited all the time to be in the company of so many incredible people who just so happen to be women. There’s something so special about being a woman that stretches across time. Just by being a woman, I’m part of a long history of people who have changed the world!

Who was your favorite interview?
This is the second verbatim project that I’ve been involved in, and I’m so excited to be behind the scenes this time! Because I’m the stage manager of this show, I didn’t conduct interviews, but Angela Costley Harris’ interview really spoke to me. Her analogy about following the North Star of your existence is so beautiful and empowering!

First dream job?
I think there were a lot of things I wanted to be... I wanted to be a Pirate, YMCA Swim teacher and a movie star for sure though.

Who's a woman in your life you love?
I really love my mom. She is becoming more and more like a friend to me as an adult. She's strong, smart and such a badass boss!

What was a moment that made you proudest to be a woman?
Gosh, I really don't know... I'd probably have to say it's the things that seem smaller, like watching women helping women in their careers to help each other work towards their goals.

Who was your favorite interview?
I loved all of my interviews! However, I really appreciated the conversation and wisdom that I got out of Amanda Miller and Kevin Howery's Interview.

Preordering tickets means that you'll only have to pay $5 rather than $8 at the door for our show OR $10 for the festival preorder pass rather than $15 at the door!

Not to mention that we are also selling Laptop stickers and T-Shirts! Come and get your goodies! We can't wait for everyone to see what we have been working on. 🤩💛

Our Next Cast Spotlight is the Lovely Anna Luczynski!

What was your first dream job?
I'm pretty sure my first dream job was to be an actress. But I remember that even as I changed between dream jobs, little Anna Lu always wanted to fall in love.

Who's a woman you love?
Oh goodness. There are SO many women that I love. The first ones that come to my mind are my mom and little sister. Just talking about them right now makes me emo. They're so fun and loving. My mom is always, always there for me, and my little sister is hands down the funniest person I know.

What was a moment that made you proudest to be a woman?
I don't think I have a specific proud moment, but in my interview with Reily Preston we talk about feminine energy, and that it's the act of creating, and that's one of my favorite things about myself. I love creating relationships with the people around me and giving them my love.

Who was your favorite interview?
How do I pick just one!! I love things about all my interviews. I was able to interview women I greatly look up to who range from a badass professor, to some of my dearest friends, to a mother and daughter that are pretty much my family. One of the best things about this show is that it's given me the opportunity to share the stories of women that I adore.
