OPENING ACT: CATS ON PAROLE
The night kicks off with Cats on Parole, who take a simple minor pet peeve and spin it into a whirlwind of comedic characters and interconnected situations. Smart, silly, and endlessly inventive.

This monthly showcase is where performers pitch their wildest, strangest, most innovative improv concepts, and then debut them LIVE in front of an audience. New formats, unexpected twists, and creative risks are the whole point — this is where future OKC Improv shows are born.

We’re celebrating Juneteenth with a full evening of powerhouse performances featuring Black artists, comedians, and improvisers — and both shows are stacked with talent, heart, and hilarity.

7:30PM — THE JUNETEENTH GET DOWN
A vibrant, multi‑format celebration of Black artistry in OKC.

The night opens with “…And Them”, bringing high‑energy improv games and challenges to kick things off with big laughs.

Then we move into a showcase of Black excellence featuring:
• Standup by Rayvin Burress
• Poetry by Carl Patterson
• An appearance from Mamma (played by Rory Littleton)

To close the show, it’s The Get Down — a one‑night‑only mashup of Black improvisers creating scenes and stories inspired entirely by the audience.

9:30PM — THE COOKOUT: JUNETEENTH EDITION
The late‑night celebration continues with The Cookout, featuring POC4 and Family Affair in a full‑evening collaboration of Black joy, culture, and comedy.

Here’s how the night unfolds:
• Family Affair kicks things off with their originally created improvised games — fast, playful, and always delivered with a cultural twist.
• Then POC4 takes the stage with a show built around a group of friends’ conversation that spirals into wild opinions, big feelings, and moments that feel way too familiar. It’s bold, joyful, and top‑to‑bottom hilarity.
• To close the night, both casts join forces for The Cookout portion of the show, answering your anonymously submitted questions about Black culture — in the most comedic way possible.
