“The JK Club (w/ The Superlatives & The Grownups)”

We’re kicking off the first weekend in September with a 3-Act Show! Check out this Friday Night Primetime Lineup and celebrate the weekend with her!

Headlining the night is The JK Club! This ensemble of quick-witted performers use one simple word (given by the audience) as inspiration to create a show full hilarious characters and scenarios that’s laugh-out-loud fun from top to bottom!

In the middle act it’s The Superlatives! You given them a completely made up yearbook superlative and they’ll bring to life a show all inspired by that label!

Kicking off the show is The Grownups featuring Sue Ellen Reiman & Bob Mann. This duo takes a simile or metaphor chosen by the audience to create a vibrant environment & characters.

- Bring your dating stories and get ready as Nic & Kyle present: Date Night returns to the OKC Improv stage! You give this duo a memorable dating story and they’ll give their reenacted interpretation of it! It’s personalized, it’s fun, it’s hilarious!

MIDDLE ACT: Piggie
- This ensemble features the masterminds behind the Impossible Improv series takes the stage for an original show where every scene start with the same sentence but always goes in a completely different wild direction!

OPENING ACT: OKC Improv Grab Bag
- Featuring a mashup combination of performers each show, OKC Improv Grab Bag brings bite size improv games & challenges bringing laughter and setting the perfect tone for a 3-Act Show!

“The Hangout (w/ The Bottle Episode)”

Who doesn’t love a good ol’ hangout with friends? This new OKC Improv show features a fun ensemble of comedians sharing conversations of hilarious personal experiences and comedic hot takes that immediately inspire laugh-out-loud scenes full of characters in ridiculous situations. It’s unhinged conversations & unhinged improvised comedy in the best way.

Opening the show is The Bottle Episode performing an improvised sitcom! You give them the title of a completely made up sitcom and they’ll create a “bottle episode” of that sitcom. This shows comes complete with an opening cast sequence intro and an improvised message of what was through the episode to close the show.

Harold Night is back! Happening the 1st Thursday of every month, this show spotlights The Harold, an iconic improv structure made famous in Chicago. With performances from Brainworms, OKC Improv’s house team dedicated to this very format with a guest performance from the quick-witted high energy ensemble, Mojito opening the show!

Taking just a moment to say “happy opening” to our Tulsa friends at the Black Cat Theatre Cafe who’s officially opening their doors today! May this new venue be full of laughs, creativity and success!
