Just a Glimpse
Throughout my life, I've struggled to understand the significance of simply being. I've discovered that understanding, within one's circumstances, doesn't always come. Life is fleeting, and moments are forever. Life is unpredictable yet it rarely surprises me. For I've grow to realize that life is not about the span of years of existence we have on Earth. Life is about the moment;
not every moment, not any moment, and not your moment. It is about the moment the Creator establishes your purpose. For each of us, the purpose is the same, yet the Creator reveals the purpose with infinite means of creativity. We are uniquely made; crafted by the hand of God and given life by His breath. And our purpose... to worship Him and serve others through love, compassion, and forgiveness. See what I See, is my attempt to grasp the reality of life around me by creatively reflecting the beauty of creation: that of God and of ourselves. It's also an attempt to display the confidence I have in Jesus Christ my Lord. I've spent my whole life trying to overcome inferiority, always second-guessing myself, and being dependent on others' opinions of my own. Today, I am who I am in Christ. I am not the man I once was, and I will never again be that man again. For I am righteousness of God in Christ... a brand new creation in Him. Therefore, See What I See, is my way of praising God through capturing his creation from the perspective that He gives me; and it's also my way of creatively illustrating or representing the way my mind processes the beauty of this life. So forgive me if I ever become too blunt about how my heart perceives and relates what I see as reality. For this is what it is and it is who I am. I invite each of you to see from the heart and not from your eyes. Arthur Hale
