Oklahoma Youth Orchestras We provide orchestral education to Oklahoma students and inspiring performances to the community.

Today is the final day of Summer Symphony Strings Camp 2026! We will be holding our Closing Ceremonies Concert at 2:30 at the John Rex Elementary School gymnasium.
Seating is limited, please bring a folding chair!
Doors open at 2:10, the concert begins at 2:30.

Our annual fundraising campaign, Play It Forward helps ensure every student has access to these life-changing opportunities, regardless of financial circumstance. Thanks to the generosity of our Board of Directors and Advisory Council, $15,000 in matching funds has already been committed, doubling the impact of every gift!

The 2026-27 Audition Window is now closed! Our adjudicators will review all of the auditions and send results to our conducting staff for final placement. Then, in early July, students will receive placement results and an invitation to enroll for the 2026-27 season! ⁠

Reminder: Our Festival Strings and Festival Winds ensembles do NOT require an audition. Registration is still open for these ensembles.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Alex Lee on his appointment as the new conductor of OKYO’s Oklahoma Youth Philharmonic! Dr. Lee serves as Orchestra Director and Professor of Music at Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU), and we are thrilled to welcome him to Oklahoma Youth Orchestras.
