🐾NEW FOSTER PUP🐾

Cerberus, “Sir,” was let loose at this weekend by his previous owner in hopes he would get picked up by someone attending the festival. He was lured into the shade by the Mural Mentees and I decided to take him home and get him some care and safety.

Every shelter I have contacted is at capacity or has jurisdiction issues, but we are waiting for one rescue sponsorship to process. In the meantime I have taken him to a vet to deal with his skin infections from flea/tick infestations and basic care.

People have asked about contributing to his current care and keeping and I’ve linked my Venmo in the last photo, Lu_Mira

Our young Sir is:
-male
-Black with white markings
-German Shepherd Mix
-About 5 mos old
-60% Ears
-Loves other dogs
-LOVES kids

He will need basic puppy obedience training, neutering, and continued care for Ehrlichiosis. We are working on leash, crate, and potty training.

I had such a blast talking (print) shop last night at the Oklahoma Museum of Art for the Moderns Panel alongside Virginia Sitzes, Michelle Canning , and Moderated by the magnanimous Cayla Lewis

This panel was a companion to the new printmaking exhibit, Picasso and the Progressive Proof, featuring some of his relief print work.

We were then let loose on the museum like the little Art goblins we are 😈

⭐ Our pals with the Oklahoma City Museum of Art Moderns are putting on a Printmaking Panel! ⭐

What is printmaking? Join OKCMOA Moderns for an exclusive in-person event on September 19 featuring a lively panel discussion on the art of printmaking, inspired by the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s exhibitions.

Our panel, consisting of three distinguished printmakers Michelle Canning, Lumen Miramontes, Virginia Anne Sitzes and skilled moderator Cayla Lewis, will delve into printmaking’s techniques, history, and modern-day relevance. This unique event offers individuals a rare opportunity to engage directly with the artists, ask questions, and gain deeper insights into this fascinating art form.

Moderns members can register to attend for $5, and the public can secure tickets for $10. The registration fee includes exhibition admission, one drink ticket, and bites after the panel.
