MEET our next teacher, The very talented Adrian Palomino 🔥🔥
Adrian Palomino started dancing in OKC public schools in 2016 and never looked back. From competing for six years as co-captain at iDanz Studio to training as a dance major at Oklahoma City University, Adrian brings drive, skill, and serious energy to the floor. He was a finalist for the 2024 OKC Thunder O City Crew auditions and is currently performing with RACE Dance Collective. Known for his high energy and passion, Adrian is excited to keep creating and growing with the Oklahoma dance community he loves.

MEET our next teacher, the spectacular
💫Sara Russell💫 is a dancer, choreographer, and creator based in Oklahoma City. She began dancing at age 4 and entered competitive dance at 9, earning multiple awards including a National Choreography Title for her solo at 17 and becoming the first Pom State title holder from her hometown.

Sara trained and performed extensively throughout college, working with Star Dance Company and assisting choreographers such as Vincent Sandoval, Alana Martin, Tiffany Warford, and Kelli Stevens. She also served as Director of Pep Dancers for two years. She graduated from Oklahoma City University in 2024 with a BFA in Dance Management.

Currently in her second year as an NBA dancer with the O’ City Crew, Sara’s credits include performances with Rick Ross & Juicy J, Kaos Crew, Soul de Soul Elite, and serving as a company member and Line Captain with Star Dance Company.

MEET our next teacher, the electric
⚡Asiah Starks⚡ is an aspiring choreographer and emerging dance educator based in Oklahoma City. With a diverse background spanning Hip-Hop, popping, waving, house, krumping, and ballroom styles, his movement blends strong foundational techniques like bounce, rock, and groove with his own expressive style.

He has trained with Abstrakt Mindz and Race Dance Collective, building both technical versatility and performance experience. Asiah has also performed professionally with artists and organizations including the Oklahoma City Thunder, K-Love Music Awards, and national tours such as the NKOTB 80’s Mixtape Tour.

As an instructor, Asiah is passionate about meeting dancers where they are, creating an environment that encourages growth, individuality, and confidence. He is committed to both learning and giving back to every community he’s part of.

MEET our next teacher, the inspiring Alexxandria Barksdale
✨Tegu Barksdale ✨ is a movement artist, choreographer, and creator of Afro Belly Dance, a unique fusion style that blends belly dance, Afrocentric movement, hip-hop, and contemporary techniques. With a background in majorette, Afrocentric dance, and belly dance, Tegu combines both self-taught exploration and professional training to develop a style that is expressive, grounded, and powerful.

She is also a performer with Ayoluwa, a West African dance company under HurreyUP Arts, where she continues to deepen her connection to culture and movement.

Tegu is passionate about helping dancers and non-dancers alike reconnect with their bodies, build confidence, and move with both strength and grace.
