Today will be one for the books!!! Working with Carter Pann is a dream come true. If you don’t know his music you are missing out!!

It was also the last day of our residency with the Wind Symphony and Brian Lamb 😢. I cannot say enough about these students!!! The worked their butts of and they BROUGHT IT!!! Thanks to Tess for helping put everything together. This album really shows off their dedication to making the best music possible ❤️

For live performance + patch orchestral recordings, the day of the recording is spent with producer going over all the notes from the post dress rehearsal meeting, checking the timing of sections and movements, marking any changes, and coming up with a patch session schedule in priority order.

We bounce a recording of last night’s rehearsal with mixes focusing on each section of the orchestra (choir, soloists, strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion), and C goes through each one to figure out where we’ll need to focus on for the patch session.
